The Tax Club, Rivers State University

The Tax Club of Rivers State University was established in the year 2021. It is a platform on campus to encourage interests in Taxation as a field of study, as a Profession, and economic alternative to Crude oil revenue. It is the intention of this club to raise student enthusiasts, encourage professional certifications, raise leaders, professionals and nation builders who sees tax for what it is: a civic duty and not an extortion. We achieve this through our internship and mentorship programmes, networking opportunities, meetings, seminars, competitions etc. We are the foremost breeding ground for intellectuals and tax savvy students on campus.
